Eight key provinces are featured--Gansu, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hunan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Yunnan--representing major poverty alleviation relocation efforts during the 13th Five-year Plan period. Through case studies, the book examines the effectiveness, experiences, practices, challenges, and future directions of relocation programs in these provinces.
