Today on the world stage, The "Ukraine war" is the main story, China and Taiwan are a backstory. The Author, Andy Rowen spent 5 years 1982 to 1987 working in China (Petroleum Exploration) in the North and South of China. During his travels, Andy worked and interacted with the wonderful people of China. Their story is interlaced with the various Civilian organizations in China. Democratic Taiwan and its links to the West was always the forbidden fruit for China. The connection to the United States was going to be a pebble in the shoe of the middle Kingdom. Premier Xi Jinping of China wants Taiwan, like Hong Kong, to be part of China by 2027. Slow transition and peaceful unification of the two Political systems. The Chinese Communist Party maintains control of the 1.5 Billion Chinese people on the mainland. Its Primary goal is to bring Taiwan into the Family fold of the Middle Kingdom.
