Poetique de la Nomination: Mult Volentiers Me Numerai [French]

By Madeleine Jeay

Book Overview

This essay focuses on the way poets, from troubadours to rhetoricians, seek to identify themselves with the heart of their oeuvre through a name, making the name - their own, but also that of their partners and rivals in poetry, and their protectors - a principle of their poetics.
