Possession

Ann Rule is most known for her true crime novels that everyone loves. She is my #1 true crime author. For 2025 I set myself a goal to read ALL of her books including Possession. Even though Possession isn't like many of her true crime novels, this is based on true events. I was captivated by the 1st 2 chapters. Then I got kinda bored til about page 100 and then the heat really picked up and then it was harder to put down. I just wanted to know what happened next. The story was nicely written but not my normal cup of tea, especially Ann Rule tea. I'm a huge Ann Rule fan, it was difficult for me to give this one only 3 stars. Due to the boredom in the beginning is the reason for the 3 stars.

Great Pace, Suspense and HORROR

A horror Trek story is not the norm and they pulled it off. I continually was thinking, "This could make a great movie!, This could make a great movie!" Plus the ending was classic. I love the unemotional Vulcan statement....I would share but don't want to spoil it.

Awesome

An addition to my other comments:To those of you who say that this was a lousy bok or the characters weren't developed, or anything like that, I partly agree with you because tere were a couple of things that could have been better, but overall I think that this was an awesome book! You still need to read it.

Fantastic

This book got off to a slow start, but once it got going, I couldn't put it down. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Truly Fantastic

Excellent Fiction

This is an excellently written piece of fiction. The plot is tight and the action moves it along.Ann Rule's knowledge of crime scenes and police work makes this book believable and exciting. This is one villian you won't be rooting for !!
