Population Zero: An Extreme Horror Novella
Todd Hammerstein is one man with a scalpel and a cause. He wants to save the planet.
When Todd was a young boy, he learned how to deal with a population that grows out of control. You spay. You neuter. You euthanize. It's the humane thing to do. He has never understood why humans should be any different.
Population Zero is extreme horror at its most uncomfortable. It's a serial killer novel about a murderer who believes he's the hero, and he just might be.
Todd is a vegan, an environmental activist, and a caseworker at the Welfare Department. He's sure he's one of the good guys. Every day he watches families multiply with no thought for the planet. He's done the math. The planet is drowning. In fifty years, the human population will double.
Not if Todd can help it.
Todd has a plan to stop it: convince people to sterilize themselves.
Most of them won't listen.
So Todd stops asking.
Content warning: graphic violence, gore, and genital mutilation. For adult readers of extreme horror and splatterpunk. This is eco-horror, body horror, and psychological horror at their most extreme. The kind of extreme horror only Wrath James White would dare to write.
Perfect for fans of Aron Beauregard, Judith Sonnet, Kristopher Triana, Edward Lee, and Eric Larocca.
