Dear readers, we are presenting you with an interesting study on the potential and difficulties of developing tourism and culture in a town in the interior of Minas Gerais, whose cultural manifestations have certain peculiarities not seen in other cities in the interior. The period known as Holy Week has this peculiarity, as it brings together celebrations and festivals of a profane, sacred and folkloric nature.
