This pop-up book has 5 layouts (10 pages) covering aspects of animal predators. The information seems sound, cohesive, and relevant. Each layout covers a general topic and then has more details and photos on specific animals. Topics include Super Senses, Hidden Talents, Clever Killers, Hungry Hunters, and Tooth and Claw. The paper engineering is very good. Pop-ups are quite good for the topic, allowing animals to jump up from the page at you. The main pop-up on each page, for the most part, is quite large. There are smaller features, such as slides, wheels, fold-out booklets, and fold-outs with pop-ups. The main pop-ups are an eagle (entire body flys up), a small polar bear, a tiger (with pop-up snout), a shark (with hinged jaw), and a caiman (long snout pops straight at you). My only faults are the polar bear seeming lacking compared to the other fabulous pop-ups and the brievity of the book.
