Pop Art In the 60's, the scandalous, tragic & superb pop artist Andy Warhol coined the well-known phrase "15 Minutes of Fame." And before Warhol was shot three times by a crazed fan on July 3rd, 1968 and was never the same again, he turned products into art and himself into a product: silver-haired, ghostly pale and as recognizable an image as his paintings.
