Schools play an important role in the overall development of children. Despite this many children are reluctant to go to school. If they are compelled to attend school, they become restless, disturb the class, dislike certain subjects and teachers and get low grades. Many factors in combination and individually affect school performance. A few have been described in this book. The author is grateful to a team of authors. Without reference to their work and publication it would not have been possible to write this book. The book is dedicated to author's parents, late Mr H B Pande and late Mrs Padmini Pande.
