Pooh's ABC

ISBN 1590693671 - Winnie the Pooh and friends, learning the alphabet, a book big enough to knock your younger sibling unconscious with... what more could a kid want? Big, bright bubble font letters at the top of each page with a rhyming pattern throughout - "M is for Milk, Lighter than cream, N is for Nightmare, A very bad dream". Under the text is a small image illustrating it. The CD leads the budding reader through the book. The words might be a bit difficult for some children, but I don't personally see a problem with that; in fact, I think it's a very good thing. Why not challenge your child's brain? The book is big and the pages are thick, which I think most young children will like, and the images are what you'd expect from Disney, bright and colorful. The CD is a little unnecessary but I'm not the target audience. Younger children will no doubt enjoy reading along with such familiar friends.

My Toddler loves it!

I think its cute! my 11.5 month old daughter loves it! she carries it everywhere.. she ignores her other books... I think she likes how thick this book is.. its good for teaching the alphabet but the associations are not that great for a toddler.... all in all I think its unique and with a little imagination I can even make a story out of the pictures.

Buying for the second time.

My toddler loves this book so much we actually wore through our first copy. It has great colorful pictures of familiar characters. The thing I thought was really great about it was that is has the alphabet letters in nice bold colorful print at the top of the page with both capital and lower case. My toddler is learning her letters quite fast and the phonetic pronunciations. The only negative thing I have to say is, the cd that comes with the book isn't so great. The book itself is wonderful.
