This book examines most of the emotions and feelings we experience in our everyday lives, and encourages you the reader to ponder them, using your own life experiences as the background or context if you wish. The book avoids jargon as far as is humanly possible so that it is easy to read and understand. It is not a psychology textbook, and does not offer any guaranteed solutions to any emotional problems you may be experiencing. Rather it offers a framework in which you might understand the enormous range of human emotions and feelings. Some are clearly positive emotions and some negative. You can of course be experiencing many feelings or emotions at the same time including some positive and some negative. For example you might be FRUSTRATED about the lack of progress in the past and yet at the same time HOPEFULL of better progress to come. Many of our feelings and emotions are based on what we feel about what has passed (recently or long ago), what we are experiencing now, and how we feel about what we know about or suspect might be awaiting us in the future. Or all three. The difference between emotions and feelings is explored. The reader is invited to work through the book slowly, one page at a time, leaving plenty of time to ponder and reflect. There are a great many atmospheric black and white photographs woven into the book to promote and aid this reflective approach. There is also a useful and comprehensive table of contents at the start.
