This volume represents the proceedings of the 3rd Berlin International Workshop on Polymer Reaction Engineering, held at the Technical University of Berlin, September, 1989. The meeting provided a forum for the presentation and discussion of major new advances in the broad and rapidly developing field of polymerization engineering and brought together scientists from all parts of the world.
