The study was aimed at formulating and evaluating a complete herbal shampoo containing only traditionally used plant materials. The shampoo contained aqueous extracts of Nettle Leaf extract Amla (Fruit), Onion (Bulb), Fenugreek (seeds), Ritha, Neem (Leaves), Curry (Leaves), Hibiscus(Flower), Aloe vera(Pulp), Gelatin, Lemon juice, Argon oil .The physicochemical parameters such as color, clarity, pH, and skin irritation, the percentage of solid contents, dirt dispersion, foaming ability and foam stability, wetting time and stability studies were studied using recommended procedures. The organoleptic evaluations of the polyherbal shampoo showed good results. The pH of the polyherbal shampoo range to be 7.00, which was near to the skin pH. The percentage of solid content of prepared shampoo was found to be 22.2%. The surface tension of developed shampoo was found to be 31.12 dynes/cm respectively.
