An excellent source for Polish-American ways and interests

"Polish-American Ways" is an excellent source for Polish-American traditions, ways, and recipes and for their roots in Poland. The publisher needs to print, about, a million more copies! I highly recommend this book!

Great for reconnecting with your roots

It's so sad that most of us 1st & 2nd generation "middle Europeans" have lost our roots. My grandmother is from Poland, and happily taught us many customs and traditions from her homeland. This book fills in the gaps. There were so many things grandma would teach us, but she could never tell us WHY, this book does that! THANK YOU! The recipes section is wonderful, I would try a recipe, and then 'tweak' it to match grandma's more closely. I love the pictures (wish there were more) of the traditional costumes - of which I wore growning up - and the recognition Polish folk arts get. If you are Polish, you HAVE to get this book!
