Police leadership by sycophants is about brown-nosing, bootlicking, company, yes-men that fill many of the command positions of some law enforcement agencies. To describe how these company lapdogs operate, I used jokes, cartoons, fictitious training schools and text to best convey to the reader how these weak, self-serving, egotistical leaders conduct themselves. These weak leaders then fill the chain of command through promotions and assignments with other badge polishing yes-men and consequently they multiply like rabbits.
There is no quick solution to reduce the number of sycophant leaders in law enforcement. Maybe a courageous political leader could demand more transparentcy and accountability, but good luck finding a political leader with courage.
Fortunately through-out the country there are many outstanding police leaders serving our citizens everyday and the majority of police officers, deputies, and other law enforcement personnel in our communities day-in and day-out respond to tens of thousands of calls for assistance and do a great job, despite being led by idiots.
