The Police Conquered The World

At one time in their lives the three gentlemen of The Police conquered the world with their talent for playing their instruments well,and Stings high pitched vocals, not just banging out a tune. Stings haunting melodies are standards of today, and live on in their still shining glory. Stewart and Andy knocked off some good ones too.Two of my favorites being Stewarts Does Everyone Stare and the franctic Fall Out which started the whole thing. Andy's often wierd sense of humor made his songs rather unique and timeless."Mother","Friends",by Andy and "Be My Girl/ Sally" (written with Sting) are hysterical and "Shambelle" is a fantastic instrumental showing Andy's rather unique take on the world,and his absolute talent for playing the guitar. But of course Sting takes the prize as the genius songwriter and bass player of his time with classics, like "Don't Stand So Close To Me" "Wrapped Around Your Finger" "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and "Every Breath You Take". But Stings little known B side songs are even more fabulous in my opinion which makes him one of a kind. The Masoko Tanga, Secret Journey, Oh My God, and "Too Much Information"etc etc. The Photos are a must for any collector of The Police's memorobilia. The biggest disappointment, "I Burn For You" and "Only You" from the "Brimstone and Treacle" soundtrack recorded by The Police and Stings haunting "Once Upon A Day Dream"and "Murder By Numbers" were not included in this wonderful anthology of notes and chords. Maybe they can include them on the next printing. Anyone who plays an instrument will appreciate what's here and even if you don't you'll find it fascinating anyway.
