Guided by a metaphysical anomaly he refers to as Eve, it does not take him long to find that life still exists in this cold realm. But things are not what they appear to be, for what he discovers forces him to confront a truth that stretches across space and time, and ultimately, to the beginning of the universe.

How does something anthropomorphic become more human than human? Why would a man with so much potential reduce himself to a previous, stagnant version of himself?
