Bei Dong, originally named Dong Tianyou, is a National First-Class Writer and a member of the Chinese Writers' Association. He has published over a hundred works, including full-length novels, biographies, fairy tales, short story collections, and essay collections. His achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, such as the Dandelion Award issued by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, the First Prize in the National Youth Program Exhibition by China Central Television (CCTV), the Golden Child Award for Short Skits and Plays from CCTV, the Bingxin Children's Book Award, the Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award, the Zhang Tianyi Fairy Tale and Fable Award, and the Hebei Provincial Literary and Art Revitalization Award.
