How exciting!

This is a great book. It's a bit annoyig but excellent anyway. I entered new game and erased my Houou to play it according to this guide. I re-statrted it a day ago and I have 4 badges!!! THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pokémon has hit a New era!

I'm a memebr of the UPN (Universal Pokemon Network), and I just purchased this book am I am really Pleased!I know little Japanese, and this book really helped me out. I imported Pokemon G/S last November and have had a really hard time understanding all the situations, but this book is a great help! I can help my friends out when they can't figure out a puzzle, catch a specific Pokemon (i.e Serebii) or battle with the new moves and Pokemon! It's really unforunate that I saw a few errors, but nothings perfect right? Thanks to this book, I now have all 251 Pokemon, all 16 badges, and so amny other items, tricks and varies other things.Good Work!

A Great Help for the Nihongo Challenged

I live in Japan and have been wanting to buy Pokemon Gold or Silver for a long time, but I was afraid that it would be too hard since my Japanese isn't very good. This book solved the problem. I bought Silver a few days after my book arrived, and in the first 3 days that I've had it, I've easily won three badges. It's true that there are some errors, but none of them are serious enough to interfere with playing. You'll miss a lot of the nuances if you don't read any Japanese, and if that's important to you, wait till the English version comes out. If, on the other hand, you can't wait to play Silver and Gold (and they're REALLY great games), get this book and go for it.

All I can tell you is if you love Pokemon and you can't stand there when 1000000 of kids in Japan are playing and you don't know Japenese this book will give you all you need on the maps,dates for the parties and the Pokemon States ,names ect... Is too good I thought that I whold have to learn Japnese to play and this book came and I got past the game.

I've looked all over for a good translation guide for pokemon gold and silver and this is the best. This book is the only way your going to find all the new pokemon stats in english at this time. If you don't know japanese and can't read the manual this book shows you everything it says.
