Poisonous Polish: A Nail Salon Mystery-Book 1

By Shelley Dawn Siddall

She's going to apprentice at a nail salon and we love that for her! Then her mentor is nail-polished to death. Weird, but true. Now Makensie has to put on her, um, big girl underwear and figure out her next move. Does she give up and find another shop to work in? It's a small town and many nail techs have studios in their basement. Shoot. She doesn't have a basement. She lives in a travel trailer, with her mama, on her aunt's driveway. Clearly she's got to solve this murder and get the nail salon open again. But she's shy and even though she tries to be kind; her first impulse is to kick butt. How on earth is she going to interview suspects in the murder? Will Makensie's goal of being the GOAT of nail polish be demolished or will her amateur sleuthing capture a killer? If you like an adorable heroine who's short tempered, but feels really sorry afterwards, you'll enjoy Shelley Dawn Siddall's novel 'Poisonous Polish' the first book in 'A Nail Salon Mystery' series.
