It's the tour of the decade, two summer blockbuster bands joining forces to wreck cities across the U.S.

They call it the Poison Core Tour and Jimmy Erickson and Vinnie Santini can hardly believe Gauntlet's luck to be chosen as the opening act. Things are definitely looking up as their first single is doing well on the charts and they're now moving from city to city, playing arenas and stadiums to crowds that were unthinkable just a few months earlier.

Nevermind the odd tension between the two mega bands or the hazing going on. Drugs and alcohol and egos aren't unusual behind the scenes in the metal music industry. But the skeevy way Jett Blacke, frontman to the goth metal act Poison Parallel, treats Gauntlet's lead singer, Jere Harper has Jimmy and Vinnie concerned.

When Jett gifts Jere with a priceless -and very cursed- black guitar, things swiftly go awry. Vinnie and Jimmy will have to figure out a way to pry it from his fingers, before they're cold and dead.
