Welcome TOXICOM, an event like no other Today we are gathered in the great Toxic People Debate Championship, where acid rhetoric and poisonous arguments will be the protagonists. In this one-of-a-kind competition, contestants will demonstrate their ability to manipulate, disqualify, and underestimate their opponents, all for the sake of victory.
In this intellectual coliseum, the confrontations will be full of intense emotions, provocations and scathing repartee. Debates become confrontational scenarios, where the ability to undermine the opponent's confidence and undermine their arguments will be a key strategy to achieve victory.
Our contestants are masters of toxic rhetoric and experts in the art of destabilizing opposing positions. There will be no limits to their verbal expressions and they will play with the feelings and reason of their opponents to gain ground in each argument.
So get ready to witness a show like no other, where wit and cunning mix with hostility and contempt. We expect nothing less than fiery debates and high-voltage verbal confrontations.
1. Participants: Each debate will have two participants who will face each other in a discussion on an absurd topic assigned by the referee. The debates will be individual, and the winner of each round will advance in the championship.
2. Absurd Themes: The referee will be responsible for selecting completely absurd and opposite themes for each participant to defend in the debate.
3. Judges: There will be three judges: the Rational Judge, the Emotional Judge and the Holistic Judge. Each judge will evaluate the arguments and rhetoric of the participants from their specific perspective.
4. Voting: Each judge will issue their vote, indicating the winner of the debate. If a contestant receives two votes, they will win by majority. If you get all three votes, you will win unanimously.
5. Stages of the Championship: The tournament will consist of several stages, beginning with an initial round of 32 participants, followed by round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, third and fourth place, and the grand final.
6. Advancement in the Championship in the Initial Round: The unanimous winner will receive 3 points. The winner by majority will receive 1 point. At the end of the 6 games of the Initial Round they will be added. In case of a tie between first or second place in the group, additional discussions will take place until a clear winner of the position is obtained.
7. Advancement in the Championship from the Eighth Finals: Beginning in the Eighth Finals the winner of each debate will advance to the next round of the championship.
8. Elimination: Participants who lose in any of the rounds will be eliminated from the championship.
9. Grand Finale: In the grand finale, the two finalists will face off in an epic debate to determine the Toxicom champion. The winner of the final will continue in the championship and obtain the title of Toxicom Champion.
10. Debate Rules: Each debate will have a specific duration for the interventions of each participant. The debates will be moderated by the referee, who will ensure that the rules are followed and that the participants do not use offensive or disrespectful arguments.
11. Sportsmanship: Although the tournament is based on toxic debates, participants are expected to maintain sportsmanship and respect the rules of the game. Any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior will result in disqualification.
12. Award: The Toxicom Champion will be awarded a trophy and special recognition for his skill in the art of toxic debate.
