Points of Survival: System Apocalypse: A LitRPG Survival Novel

By: Nadiya

The System did not send monsters first. It sent a message.

Planetary integration initiated. Species identified: human. Adaptation status: incomplete. Then the world became a survival game, and every dangerous act started paying out in System Points.

Mara Venn is a municipal records clerk. She has no combat training, no survivalist instincts, and no interest in becoming a hero. What she has is an eye for patterns - the wrong stamp, the backdated form, the door everyone else walks past. In a city that is falling apart by the hour, noticing is its own kind of power.

While reckless survivors spend their points on flashy powers and die within days, Mara builds herself carefully: a better perception score, a useful skill, a route that does not get people killed. She rescues civilians. She closes the right doors. She refuses the rewards that would make her abandon the people she protects.

Then Darius Kade - a man who believes dependence is better than chaos - decides Bellwether belongs to him. To keep her friends alive, Mara must enter Greywater Works, a drowned facility hiding a guardian that repairs itself with live water. The System offers her a fortune in points. The price is everything she is trying to protect.
