Poetry via Gallowgate & Vermont

A new edition of poetry that the writer can trace back to commencing around 2003 because that is when he was working near Lyme Regis.

He did drink in The Volunteer and stayed in an old hotel on the promenade, where he would listen to the radio, late into the night.

The horizon has stayed with the poet; even now on low-lying ground he still reaches out for the unexpected.

Some titles have been spread across facing pages, not all poems lent themselves to that format, though you may decide otherwise.

One of the poets on BBC's Get Writing was from Vermont for certain, another was definitely from Gallowgate, but there were oh so so many others.

The title then could be a compendium of any village, town or city anywhere in the world, such was the wonder of the BBC's rather grand outreach.
