Poetry: "Cry of the Poor"

"Cry of the Poor" one of my books of Poetry is a collection of poems from previous works that focus primarily on social justice issues. In addition to creating my own Cover Image, there are poverty drawings throughout this book which capture the urgency of the needs of the poor. The poetry in this book moves the heart to be compassionate and to assist those less fortunate than ourselves: the starving, the refugee, the victims of human trafficking, the immigrants, the homeless and the poor in general throughout our world and in our own country of the United States.
