poetry as we like it

I have included many of my favorite poems in this book. For the most part the poems are previously unpublished but there are a number of old favorites mixed in. Fourteen of the poems have won recognition in poetry contests. Approximately a third of the poems follow a rhyme scheme and many along the way will provide you with a chuckle or two. The poetry in this book is very accessible and intended "for the rest of us", hence the name "poetry as we like it". Please enjoy.
