One of my favorite things about writing poetry is the freedom it gives me when compared to prose. For example, it allows me to use or not use punctuation and to play around with variations in line spacing. I also love creating my own words; making nouns into verbs and vice versa. "Poeting," the title of this book, is one such an example. For me, poeting is what a poet does, which is write poetry. As a result of all this flexible creativity, writing poems is a fun, engaging pursuit that brings me such joy. In this, my tenth volume of poetry I've assembled poems about poetry: delving into the creative process, the joy of writing, the essence of flow, the curse of writer's block, along with the power of words themselves.
