Poems Silly and Serious

In this book of poems - you will find a mixture of what I refer to as "Silly Poems." Silly poems are meant to be just that. Enjoy them for what they are. Let your hair down and get a little silly, forgetting all the daily issues and crisis that come our way, and just be a child again. Some silly poems, as silly as they may seem, are based on events that actually happened in our lives. I try to 'footnote' those poems. Other poems are remembering days gone by. We cannot turn back the hours of time, but, we should not forget them; for they are a part of 'who we are'; what we are; and why we are.' There are a few poems some may find somewhat distasteful. If you do, I sincerely apologize in advance, for I truly mean no harm. Any poems I write are strictly for the enjoyment of the humorous events in which I write. I have written some poems on the fact that we are all growing older, and how precious our time becomes in later life. Also is an inspirational section - prayer poems for special friends who are or in dire need of 'Eternal Intervention' from our God and Heavenly Father. Other inspirational poems need no explanation.
