Poems Potions Protests is a provocative response to heart break, social injustice, womanhood, and societal expectations. In this space, I chose not to people please, but rather to receive and release ALL of me that existed in the present moment. With each poem, I sat with the good, the bad, the beauty and the ugly of who I was, is, and who I was to become. This work is an offering to myself, my lineage, my community, and most importantly to the Divine. It is restitution for my soul, redemption from my fears, and restoration of my divinity.
