The mirror glides in between the two halves to create a false reflection of a world which is dominated by the seers in their tower and the overseer who encompasses all things- Solomon. The masculine and the feminine are trapped here in perpetual chaos as the external rulers replace their internal monarchy. Benjamin and Bethany have been looped through this system since the usurpation began. To get out, they need to find themselves and get to the passage which is "down is up" To do so, they need to stop time and confuse the seers and Solomon so as to reunite and exit the Solomon system forever. The sun and the moon are continually holding them in patterns within dreams so as to keep them however, Benjamin and Bethany now have the true care and will to exit. Solomon will not allow such folly as "it" cares for them as one would care for a pet.
