Family. There's nothing more important to WILLIAM P MARSDEN and, as a grandfather of four grown children, he has always encouraged them to enjoy the arts and reading. He has appeared on stage in his younger years in community shows in Wagga Wagga, NSW. He has enjoyed his years playing the trumpet in bands. He has written poetry for his family which we now present as a reflection of the milestones in our lives.William Marsden was born in 1924, the only son of Percival and Eliza Marsden of Sydney, NSW. He married Dorothy and had two daughters, Jill and Judy. His grand-children are Anthony, Leah, Timothy and David. He has written this poetry over his lifetime and he is now aged ninety years old. He emphasises that it has been written specifically for his family and each grandchild has looked forward to receiving their own special poem created by their 'Grannles' for a birthday or special occasion. William Marsden has had a challenging career including management of radio stations 2MG and 2LF. He was also General Manager of Riverina Television Ltd (RVN2 Wagga Wagga). He undertook community leadership roles in the Methodist Church and Rotary Club.
