Poems and Diatribes is a work that began through the author's first experiences with love, the death of loved ones, and ultimately coming face to face with his own shifting reflection. These poems were written through first times and growing pains, through the author learning how to dance with love and grief. So many of the poems are a love letter to the author's mother, as well as the element of water. Which are one in the same in many ways. Roaring, moving, changing in dynamic - always holding.

This book is for every trans person that has ever been told they are unlovable because of their anatomy. For every queer person filling the God-shaped absence left by the brutality of religion, for every young person feeling stuck under the weight of their grief without a light out of the dark. This book is also dedicated to the people in Gaza who have lost their lives to the Israeli genocide, and it is for those who continue to live and fight and hope for the creation of a new and better world. This book is for the lovers, the dreamers, and the fighters.
