I sometimes struggle when I am asked to review books that aren't published in the traditional route. There might be errors (and there are in this book). There might be a title that no one understands until they read it (and this does). There might be design issues (and there are). But sometimes you find a diamond in the rough (and I did). Pocket full of quarters begins with a story of living in the ICU ward as a loved one fights for their life. Quarters become a priceless commodity. I've experienced that, and it resonated. Touchton takes those lessons and asks the reader to take their pocket full of quarters and share it with others. She asks intelligent questions and invites readers to a deeper knowledge of what it means to know Christ. I wish she had went with a traditional publisher. I wish this book had a different cover and certainly a different title, but I also think it has a lot of value for the reader wanting to know God with their whole mind, body, spirit, and soul and how that applies to their everyday life and interaction with others.
