Pneumatology and Spirit-Empowered Theology is a doctoral-level course book focused on the person, deity, work, fruit, gifts, and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not a force, feeling, atmosphere, or religious experience. He is God, the third person of the Trinity, who speaks, leads, reveals, sanctifies, empowers, distributes gifts, and glorifies Jesus Christ.
This book studies the Holy Spirit in Scripture and redemptive history, the Spirit's work in the life and ministry of Jesus, the Spirit in salvation and sanctification, spiritual gifts and church order, prayer, worship, proclamation, discernment, and ministry formation.
The goal is to form ministers who are Word-governed, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, holy, discerning, loving, orderly, and equipped to serve the Body of Christ with power and wisdom.
