Learning how to love yourself, but not being in love with yourself

Beatrice Wilson is a college student whose just lost her first boyfriend and has put on weight, but this is the turning point in her life, especially when she gets discovered by a modeling agency as a plus sized model. She travels the world, meeting new people both good and sleazy to say the least. She is also torn between the young up and coming rapper who she tutors, her old boyfriend, her curriculum and her new career. Its a fun, funny, and enjoyable coming of age story filled with angst, understanding, and growing pains. Chambers does a great job with this book.
