Wonderful designs for cross-stiching including fashion accents, gifts, bazaar best sellers, border patterns, etc. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Okay, I'm reviewing another Better Homes and Gardens book today. But this is different. This was my very first Cross-Stitch book and it still has much to teach. It is timeless. Look at the cover. The simple elegance of the placemat and napkin in contrast to the simple tea service and daisys is so in line with the resurgence of "Tea" gardens today. Inside you'll find samplers, bibs, table runners, a teddy bear that could have stepped right out of a posh Rodeo Dr. boutique, embellished sweaters, a mirror strikingly enhanced with a cross stitch border, floral work, and chair seats too beautiful to sit on There is even a rug and for Christmas a holiday sleigh that can fit under the tree and hold gifts for the family. Additional material on fabric, yarns and threads and hoops is included. This is such a beautiful book that I can't imagine anyone parting with it. Cross-Stitch is an eternal art. This book more than fulfills it's destiny to carry it forward and remind us of the beauty of needlework past.
