Teaching our children to read.

Play with us is the first book of a 36 book series that teaches children how to read. The books use the key words reading scheme. Key words make up a large portion of all the words in juvenile reading. These books were successfull when I was in school in the 60's and 70's and now I am using these same books to teach my own children to read. My children have very high reading levels for their age, and I believe it is because of the Ladybird key words reading scheme. Teaching our children to read increases their ability to do well in all other subjects. Why do we keep changing programs that work. Key words is a must for any family with young children learning to read.
