A great buy for the karate novice.

Look at the majority of martial arts books on the market and you'll find that they're printed plainly in balck and white. This one though, is colourful and attractive to read with nice, clear colour illustrations. It's got helpful instructions on competition techniques, a detailed glossary of Japanese to English karate words, training ideas .... in fact, everything the aspiring beginner needs! Especially good for children.
