Effective Movements and Fingerplays for each Bible Story!

The beautifully illustrated cover of this Bible says "50 (Bible) stories...just right for active kids." I bought this as a first Bible for my almost three year old son. It is too wonderful! After almost every line that you read, there is an action for the child to do to participate in the story (walking fingers, pretending to grow tall, looking up to heaven, etc.) The interactive format increases their reading comprehension of the Bible like you wouldn't believe. Also, some children's Bibles seem almost afraid to include the death and resurrection of Christ, but this one allows little ones to learn the sadness and triumph of Christ's path. For the resurrection, the text has the child pretending to run and look for Jesus in the empty tomb. Wow. If you teach in a Christian preschool/Kindergarten - buy one now. I can't wait to read it to my class! The wonderful illustrations of Terry Julien will grab your young reader's attention as much as the fingerplays.
