Play among young children with disabilities - a source of surprises

Young children with disabilities are usually supported by several therapists and have to focus on their therapeutic goals. But where is there room for the child's own play? Often, these children's play looks different due to their disability. That is why it is all the more important to discover their existing potential. To enable the child to develop this further, we must consider how we can assist them in doing so. The shift in role from therapist to assistant is central to this. The child's voice is their play. Let us also allow children with disabilities to have their say through their play
