Aedes aegypti is one of the most important culicid species for public health, as it transmits important arboviruses. The effect of plant extracts on the oviposition of A. aegypti in traps was analyzed. To this end, ovitraps containing three types of water (tap water, distilled water, and sewage) and six types of plant extracts were set up. This study also evaluated the larvicidal activity of ethanolic and aqueous extracts from parts of the moringa plant in controlling the larvae of this vector. A significant effect of the extracts on the vector was observed.
