PLANET STORYLAND AND THE WORDS OF THE FEW takes place on the planet Gliese. The main character is Quentin Augustine who has read a book from a nearby library titled EARTHLINGS. Quentin sees pictures of the Earthlings and they look like the people on Gliese. There's one big exception though, he learns that the Earthlings live their lives in suspense. He asks his parents if he can go to Earth to see what it's really like. His mother says, No! His father has a lengthy discussion with him about the Earthlings being alien. Quentin is too curious, so he finds his way to Earth, and brings with him "the good news."
