Plain English Real Estate Dictionary

My goal in creating the Plain English Real Estate Dictionary was to simplify and clarify the language of the real estate profession for real estate students and anyone else with an interest in real estate. As the real estate writer for Allied Business Schools, I am always looking for ways to clarify the concepts of real estate and make them easier for students to understand. I found many of the real estate glossaries and dictionaries I use in my work to be unnecessarily complex and obscure. The definitions were not helpful for students encountering these concepts for the first time. As a result, I began compiling the terms and concepts I found most confusing. I researched their meaninngs and rewrote the definitions in clear, understandable terms. My list eventually expanded to became this book, which includes a comprehensive selection of entries, along with charts showing the connections between related terms, real estate math, and measurement conversion tables. --- excerpt from book's Introduction
