a "must" reading for christians and non christians

it is regrettable that this fine book is out of print. The story centers around a family from florida who face the terrible news of the kidnapping of their 2 children. The epidemic of Aids has reached such a proportion that the population is essentially divided, into those infected with the virus and those uninfected. The government has allocated a city in the southern part of Florida where all infected persons are supposed to live and remain there until they die.Turmoil and chaos prevails in this divided society. What follows is the story of this family trying to cope with the harsh reality that their children have been taken away and in all chances their raptors are heading to the forbidden city. The children's grandfather is perhaps the most afflicted and in the end is his newly found faith in God that paves the way for the safe return of the children to their family. This powerful drama is about the power of prayer and Carol Balizet elegantly reminds us all of it with this christian fictional story which in a way could be prophetic of the times to come.
