Steel city here we come!

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and left ten years ago. My husband and I are currently moving back to my good ol' hometown and I purchased this book for him to help get us excited about the upcoming re-location; that is exactly what it did! This book is a short and sweet compulation of facts and figures about Pittsburgh, PA. Alot of the "reasons" to love Pittsburgh were historical facts and trivia about the Steel City- but I still enjoyed learning about who is from and around the area. I found myself reminiscing about one of the best places to raise a family (one of Pghs claim to fame), as well as the low cost of living, great housing market, numerous schools and universities, and a great health care system (with UPMC as one of the voted "Best Hospitals" year after year). There are a couple black and white photos throughout the book with one or two "reasons" on each page. Book is a good bang for your buck (9.99 fair price in my opinion) and would be a nice gift or present to someone in or around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
