It is a pirate’s life for me.

Once again, we are treated to the further adventures of Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) as he attempts to recover The Black Pearl. I will not go into too much detail because most of the fun of the movie is the surprise twists and turns. Suffice it to say that there are many subplots. Some of these plots include “The Fountain of Youth” and the prophecy of a one-legged man. The film moves fast, and there is not a wasted moment or word as everything gets wrapped up neatly. Well, some things may be better solved in the next installment. For me, much of the fun of the movie was actually the cameos. I will always think of King George as looking like Richard Griffiths of Harry Potter fame. More surprising than that, I could not believe it when who should appear out of nowhere but Judi Dench. It brought back memories of her performance in a "Midsummer Night's Dream". Overall, you will not be disappointed if everything that you look for in the Pirates of the Caribbean series is in this film, and if nothing else is more exaggerated.

This was the best one yet! Really well done & LOTS OF SWASHBUCKLING JACK SPARROW! A Keith Richards(Rolling Stones)cameo, I really loved this movie! Also lots of "He's A Pirate" music from first movie & the plot & storyline are great & move along perfectly choreographed. It's a really fun well written Pirates of the Caribbean movie that is a great one with a lot of twists & surprises! Johnny Depp brings his character to life in a way that makes you want more, more, more Jack Sparrow the Pirate of all pirates. Also Captain Barbaruso returns in a very funny, unexpected way! And the "Pearl" is curiously trapped in a bottle by Blackbeard! There are some lovely but very viscous man eating mermaids! Aaaargh!
