Pippa is a Pink Hippo: The Dancing Dreamer
Filled with heart, humor, and cinematic flair
Pippa the Pink Hippo is the youngest member of The Hippo Slammers, Mudberry Marsh's famous wrestling family. Everyone expects her to become a wrestling champion - everyone except Pippa herself. Her dream is to become a dancer. Not a body-slammer. Not a rope-swinger. A dancer.
But hippos aren't known for grace, and Pippa is clumsy even by hippo standards. She breaks floorboards. She rattles chandeliers. She sneezes with the force of a small hurricane.
Still, she secretly follows her heart to TwinkleTaps Dance Academy, where she meets:
Monty Mole, a shy tap dancer
Priscilla Peacock, the dramatic prima ballerina
Miss Lily, a swan who believes in her
And the mysterious Disco Pigs, who party behind a forbidden red door... enter if you dare
Pippa trains hard, endures teasing, learns to control her "hippo stomp," and discovers that her size and strength can be part of her unique dance style.
But during the year's big talent show, disaster strikes: a feather floats into her face, triggering a sneeze so powerful it sends dancers flying, explodes sheet music, and rattles the front rows.
Instead of giving up, Pippa improvises - stomping, glowing in her tutu, and turning chaos into choreography. With Monty and Priscilla beside her, she creates a brand-new fusion dance that brings the entire auditorium to its feet.
As the Disco Pigs storm the stage and confetti rains down, Pippa realizes she never needed to be graceful to be a dancer.
