Pinpoint Raises is a new bidding convention that can be used with the Standard American bidding system. It replaces the raises used with major suits after an opening bid, and displaces Bergen raises, as well as many bids made based on the Law of Total Tricks. This convention is especially designed to provide better partnership strength communication when nearing the threshold of part-game and game, as well as enhancing slam bid exploration. These raises function with 3 or 4+ card support for your partner, and can be used in spite of opponent interference. A modified form of the Drury convention is also supported.
