It seems there are others who pulled through the plague that are not so trustworthy. A note is found with a horrifying explanation for what is essentially a kidnapping. To make matters worse, a relapse threatens. The plague lives within their cells forever. Jack has warned them all that stress might activate it.

The group soon becomes torn apart, winding up in three separate locations. In the disintegrating infrastructure the brutal forces are stacked against them. Not everyone is equipped to handle such adversity.
