Beautiful photos of some of the most eye-catching pinball machines ever made

My first job after getting out of high school was in concrete construction and we traveled from job to job in the local area. We ate our lunch in cafes or bars and they generally had a pinball machine. While we were waiting for our food, we would play the game and we were very competitive. I always found it to be an exciting game; it required a form of hand-eye coordination that I did not use elsewhere. With that in my past, I recognized some of the pinball machines in this book, having dumped a large number of quarters into them. The ones I remember in most detail are the Flash Gordon and Elton John games. This book is a brief history of pinball and the photos feature some of the most colorful and attractive machines ever manufactured. The coverage is international in scope; pinball games constructed in Europe are also seen. If you love pinball and have played on hundreds of machines like I have, then you will recognize some of the challenges found in this book. Also, if you are a collector, then this is a book you must have.
